ACCESSIBILITY

Gorey/Kilmuckridge Municipal District acknowledges that there is much work to be done to ensure our Festivals can be accessed by all. This year, there is a focus on Neurodiversity.

Creative Ireland Wexford has funded a creative consultant to consider how our festivals in Gorey can be better accessed by neurodivergent volunteers, audiences, artists and organisers.

SENSORY PICNIC 1PM

GOREY TOWN PARK

Neurodiversity is often experienced by the whole household. We are committed to creating safe environments within our festival programme where families can make the necessary sensory adjustments. Join us for a Sensory Picnic as part of the Family Fun Day in Gorey town park on Saturday 19th July. In collaboration with local group Advocates for Autism, we will gather alongside selected artists to experience a quieter approach to the Festival.

Families are welcome to bring along whatever they need to accommodate sensory requirements. We will meet at the Sensory Garden in Gorey Town Park at 1pm
