Originally from London and raised in Dublin, Sam Ali began playing piano at three, with music shaping his life. After losing his mother to cancer at fourteen, he channelled his grief into song writing, inspired by her memory. A Ballyfermot College for Performing Arts graduate, Sam fronted TouchWood/Where Buildings Fall for seven years, performing at festivals like Oxegen and Independence, plus U.S. and Irish tours.
